Salary-backed loan · Legnano and the Alto Milanese

Salary-backed loans in Legnano: employees, pensioners and the police and armed forces

The instalment is deducted directly from your salary or pension and never exceeds a fifth of the net amount. It is the most straightforward product on the market in structure — and the one where price differences between lenders are largest and least visible, because they hide inside the compulsory insurance.

What people usually think

Regulated by law, but not on price

Many people assume that because the product is regulated, the offers are equivalent. That is true of the structure and false of the cost, which is the one thing the law does not fix.

  1. “I’ve had problems in the past, they won’t give me one anyway”

It is the product designed for exactly that: deduction at source and compulsory insurance.

    Why

It is the product designed for precisely this situation. The instalment is deducted at source by the employer or the pension body and is covered by compulsory life and employment insurance: the risk to the lender is very low, so the case can be assessed even with past adverse records.

  2. “It’s all set by law, the offers are equivalent”

The law fixes the term and the share, not the price. The cost of the insurance changes everything.

    Why

The law fixes the maximum term, one hundred and twenty months, and the assignable share, a fifth of net income. It does not fix the price. The cost of the compulsory insurance and the commissions vary widely between lenders and end up inside the APR: over ten years the difference between two offers can run to several thousand euros.

  3. “I look at the instalment and pick the lowest”

The same instalment can mean a different term. Compare what you repay in total.

    Why

Two offers with the same instalment can have different terms, and therefore very different totals. The figure to compare is not what you pay each month: it is what you repay altogether.

  4. “I’d rather my employer didn’t know”

Not possible: they are the ones making the deduction. Better to know beforehand.

    Why

It is not possible, and it is worth knowing beforehand: it is the employer who deducts the instalment from your pay and forwards it to the lender, so they are necessarily notified. For pensioners the same role falls to the pension body.

Why with us

What we actually do

Special terms for police and armed forces

For personnel of the Polizia di Stato, Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, Polizia Penitenziaria and the Armed Forces, some lenders reserve dedicated terms, different from the standard rate card. We check which ones you are entitled to, based on your service branch and length of service.

We tell you what you repay altogether

We compare offers on the final total, with the cost of the compulsory insurance already inside. That is where the differences hide, not in the monthly instalment everyone shows you first.

No due dates to remember

The instalment comes straight out of your salary or pension: there are no direct debits to watch and no late payments possible, which also protects your credit profile for the future.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much can I obtain?

Up to €60,000. The amount comes from the assignable instalment — a fifth of your net salary or pension — multiplied by the term the lender grants, up to a maximum of one hundred and twenty months. What counts is therefore your net pay, your length of service and, for private-sector employees, the severance provision accrued. We do the exact calculation on the first call.

Are there special terms for police and armed forces personnel?

Yes. For personnel of the Polizia di Stato, Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, Polizia Penitenziaria and the Armed Forces, several lenders apply dedicated agreements with terms that differ from the standard rate card. They are not the same for every branch or every length of service: we check which ones apply to your case before submitting the application.

How long can the term be?

Up to 120 months, with an instalment that by law does not exceed a fifth of your net monthly salary or pension.

Is my employer told?

Yes, necessarily: it is the employer who deducts the instalment from your pay and forwards it to the lender. For pensioners the pension body plays that role.
